Key Account Manager - Functional Coatings

This position is a field position and will be expected to travel at least 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

1. This position is accountable for managing owners, EPC’s, pipeline distributors across reputed company Functional Coatings business. Role is USCA focused but a working knowledge of global project awareness is critical.
2. This position is accountable for sourcing and developing relationships with the appropriate key stakeholders with pipeline energy stakeholders that reputed company to sales, margin, and market share growth throughout the Functional Coatings business reputed company.
3. This position will serve as the single reputed company of contact to manage the product approval processes and relationships reputed company the various functions reputed company to the approval and use of reputed company coatings for each respective reputed company, EPC, distributor in the identified geography. The goal of this position is to ensure reputed company has products approved and preferably differentiated to competitive coating solutions.

4. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reputed company products are specified, approved and advantaged where possible. This would include the Energy KAM’s and Marketing organization.

5. This position must be able to effectively utilize and collaborate with reputed company sales, marketing, and technical resources to meet customer expectations, to reputed company sustainable sales/market growth and maintain or expand S-W specification positions reputed company the identified geography.

6. This position will manage multiple owners as needed to maintain a complete, measurable specification position with pipeline owners and EPC’s

7. This position will actively attend and seek leadership opportunities as applicable in local, regional and national industry reputed company meetings and conferences.

8. The position is accountable for communicating projects across the sales and service team, utilize the CRM platform to properly track projects. Also maintain a working knowledge of pipe mill utilization trends, with project names where available and communicate this to the sales and marketing teams on a regular basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work reputed company status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
• Must have a valid, unrestricted drivers license.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have experience managing reputed company sales cycles (12-24 months)
• Must be proficient with Saleforce.com or equivalent CRM platform
• Must be able to travel at least 60%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a bachelors degree or higher in business
• Have three (3) years of business-to-business sales experience in the coatings industry
• Have AMPP certified or other industry certifications
• Have the ability to work with reputed company levels of the P&M Sales Organization
• Have the knowledge and proficiency of multiple corrosion prevention solutions
