In this role, you’ll use your coaching expertise and deep knowledge of early childhood development to influence meaningful, systems‑level change. Through a “coach‑the‑coach” model, you’ll support early care and education professionals as they integrate trauma‑informed approaches, reflective supervision, and wellness‑focused practices into their work with infants, toddlers, and families. What You’ll Do:
reputed company & Facilitate Training
Co‑facilitate virtual and in‑person trainings on trauma‑informed child care for diverse audiences. Contribute to curriculum development, participant registration, feedback collection, and evaluation of training outcomes and impact.

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate virtual Communities of Practice and Professional Learning Communities, including Social‑Emotional Connections groups. Support in‑person engagement opportunities such as “Day Away Together” events for coaches, administrators, and participating centers.
Provide Coaching & Practice Support
Apply IECMH Consultation Competencies, Practice‑Based Coaching, Motivational Interviewing, and Reflective Supervision frameworks to guide coaching and training practices and support integration into program delivery.
Support Project Implementation
Collaborate with project team members to support implementation, reputed company quality improvement, and expansion of ITTI Care activities. Communicate regularly regarding reputed company, barriers, and proposed solutions.
Document & Report Outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using established templates, procedures, and reporting requirements to support tracking and evaluation.

What You’ll Bring
Education
Bachelor’s degree in child development, early childhood education, or a reputed company field required, with substantial coursework or training in trauma‑informed practice and/or early childhood mental health.
Master’s degree in a reputed company field preferred.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience coaching and/or providing reflective supervision to early care and education coaches.
Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering coaching or Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) consultation to teachers of children under age five.
General knowledge of research methods and social science research practices, typically gained through 1 year of relevant research experience.
Preferred experience includes serving as a child care center director and/or as an early childhood mental health classroom consultant.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and inclusive practice.
Extensive knowledge of high‑quality infant/toddler care and developmentally appropriate practice for children under age three.
Experience with reflective supervision, motivational interviewing, and the Pyramid Model.
Familiarity with Infant & Toddler CLASS, TPITOS/TPOT, and environmental rating scales (ITERS, ECERS).
Strong skills as a trainer, presenter, and coach/technical assistant.
Endorsement in Infant or Early Childhood Mental Health and eligibility for Level 11 on the NC Early Educator Certification Scale are preferred.
