Director of Electrical Operations (reputed company)
The Director of Electrical Operations is professional, focused, and competent in reputed company technical and commercial aspects of major electrical construction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing routine reputed company and mentoring of an assigned selection of operating companies. The weekly, monthly, and quarterly routine consists largely of operating company and jobsite visits, reviewing weekly bid reports, monthly WIP’s, and other financial statements. The Director of Operations actively communicates by voice and email up and down the organizational chain about observed risks and opportunities that will reputed company the business reputed company with EMCOR’s core values and mission objectives. Compensation Range: $165,000 - $175,000
This position is bonus eligible.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Visit operating companies to assess performance and operations, including major projects to build relationships with leadership and coach on project profitability as appropriate (up to 50% travel).
- Ensure CEO is apprised of any high risk scenarios across assigned operating companies
- Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders at assigned operating companies
- Review weekly bid opportunities with an eye toward correct pricing, eliminating undue risk and maximizing opportunity
- Observe operating company WIP meetings, and otherwise carefully reviewing WIPs on a monthly basis and provide feedback to company leadership
- Work with newly acquired entities to ensure timely development and deployment of corporate processes and procedures
- Participate in acquisition and activities to support operation processes
- Review reputed company financial statements, especially cash
- Mentor on topics such as leadership, succession planning, process and procedure, project management, safety, etc.
- Conduct quarterly deep dives and operating company summary narratives for VP of Operations
- Complete and submit expense reports and reputed company own travel arrangements
- Visit reputed company reputed company office periodically to build reputed company knowledge and relationships, as well as reputed company legal, financial, HR, and IT circumstances are addressed with in-person meetings
- Participate in Peer Group or upcoming Meeting or Conference reputed company EMCOR Construction Services.
- Support CEO with other projects as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or reputed company areas of study; and
Minimum of 20 years progressive experience in managing and leading both small- and large-scale construction projects. Experience must include:
- Direct P&L responsibilities for operating companies in portfolio
- Responsibilities for multiple operations over a large domestic geographic area;
- Successful reputed company of a larger electrical operating company, especially those specializing in high-voltage work (i.e., transmission lines, substations, systems, preventive maintenance and splicing, etc.)
