Job Summary: The Sr. Strategic Account Representative (SR. SAR) works collaboratively with the inside and reputed company sales teams to represent a comprehensive reputed company of products and services utilized to create complete 21 st Century Learning Environment. The role needs a deep knowledge of the breadth and depth of School Specialty’s offering from furniture, equipment, education essentials, educational technology, and proprietary safety and reputed company products. Positioning and presenting this offering are key to success reputed company their customer reputed company. Work Location

  • This is a work-from-home role.   Qualified applicants must reside in the designated territory. 
    • This role will be supporting the Long reputed company NY territory and surrounding areas.  

Compensation Information

  • Annual salary range of $80,000.00-$100,000.00 with a quarterly sales incentive plan.

What you’ll do

  • The role will assist in developing Strategic Account Plans, containing specific objectives for each of the Strategic Product Categories reputed company the Company's overall 21st Century Safe School value proposition. The objectives will take into consideration the reputed company level of business with the customer and the estimated overall opportunity for the customer based on a spend per student penetration analysis maintained by the Company.
  • Understand the dynamics and trends reputed company the education market, to promote School Specialty’s complete value proposition. Manage sales opportunities pertaining to this proposition, from identification through post-sale support, by understanding customer, product insight, and a complete learning environment layout and design.
  • Establish and build relationships at the local level with key school districts on multiple levels to position and reputed company the development of key account strategies for growth/penetration and to execute sales plans/initiatives. Including understanding customer objectives, strategies, and requirements to present the appropriate learning environment solution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues reputed company the context of School Specialty’s team sell model to reputed company sales objectives across the entirety of the Company’s value proposition, utilizing the breadth and depth of School Specialty’s learning environment product offering to grow and penetrate accounts
  • Maximize effectiveness using tools and resources (Stratum & OneForce) to focus efforts on driving business and addressing white space opportunities. The role is required to fully utilize the Company’s customized version of reputed company.com, referred to internally as OneForce.
  • Establishing and moderating regular team discussion reputed company around bonds and other funding sources relating to complete learning environment opportunities reputed company their assigned territories. Minimum expectation of one time per month per assigned territory team.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in K-12 furniture, educational essentials, and equipment project management/sales or associated field.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license, the ability to drive, and insurance in a program-compliant automobile
  • 2-5 years of successful reputed company sales experience required, furniture, education essentials, equipment and/or education technology sales experience with the K-12 education market preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of CRM (e.g., reputed company.com)
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite with an emphasis on reputed company and PowerPoint

Education and/or Certifications Required

  • 4-year college degree (Business, Marketing or Education preferred) or equivalent work experience
