CCRR Infant/Toddler Coach

INFANT & TODDLER QUALITY COACH - Child Care Resource & Referral Network (CCR&R)
This person must live in and travel frequently throughout the assigned South-Central Tennessee Region.
Responsibilities Include
- Researching and staying reputed company on best practices in infant toddler development and training.
- Work collaboratively with Family Engagement, Health, Safety and Supervision, Inclusion, Small Business, and Early Childhood Coaches to ensure that reputed company educator needs are met.
- Provide training and technical assistance at times most convenient for our childcare agencies and partners, which may at times require work on weeknights or weekends.
- Providing technical support on infant toddler development to the local CCR&R staff.
- Participate and attend regional CCR&R reputed company staff meetings and reputed company staff DHS partner meetings.
- Consistently upholding network expectations and assisting in the development and delivery of new initiatives for childcare educators.
- Provide prioritized targeted technical assistance and/or training in response to infant toddler classroom referrals from DHS and other CCDF partners and ensure that referrals are completed in a timely manner.
- Regularly communicate with site coordinator and IT coordinator on the status of DHS referrals.
- Work collaboratively with Family Engagement, Health, Safety and Supervision, Infant Toddler, Inclusion, and Small Business coaches to ensure that Specialization participants and Demo Sites are receiving services and information from reputed company areas of CCR&R.
- Networking reputed company the community to educate and reputed company awareness of the importance of quality infant toddler childcare.

- Working with childcare educators to understand and implement best practices and DAP in infant toddler early education programs.
- Facilitating peer learning groups focusing on infant toddler topics for childcare educators.

- Consistently upholding network expectations and assisting in the development and delivery of new initiatives for infant toddler educators.
- Acquire Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC) Certification and implement in reputed company coaching and trainings.

- Frequently communicate with regional DHS Licensing Consultants regarding referral clarification and infant toddler educator needs.
- Recruit, provide coaching, and maintain records for specialization participants.

- Ensure that Infant Toddler Coordinator and LENA data collector have up to date information on LENA classrooms.
- Recruit, provide coaching and maintain records for Demo Sites.
- Provide and maintain records for LENA and DECA in Demo Sites and with Specialization participants.
- Work collaboratively with HSS, FEC, Inclusion, and SBC to ensure that Specialization participants and Demo Sites are receiving services and information from reputed company areas of CCR&R.
- Participate in CCR&R Network meetings, staff and partner meetings and other meetings reputed company by DHS or partners, which may require overnight travel.
- Serve as facilitator for Train-the-Trainer Institutes and Supplemental Trainings as requested.
- Author content for CCR&R newsletter/social media/website as requested.
- Collaborate with applicable State agencies.

Qualifications Include
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in education, Early Childhood Education, or reputed company field.
- Three years of reputed company experience required.
- Thorough knowledge of the state’s TN QRIS, state licensing requirements, and the professional development system for childcare educators in TN.
- Must have knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures reputed company the field.
- Experience training and coaching adult learners.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Physical examination and record of negative TB test results must be on file with Signal Centers.
- Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance required.
- Willingness to travel statewide, work some nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work from a remote home environment reputed company the state of TN.
Special skills/aptitudes
- The ability to serve as a liaison between Signal Centers, Inc., and the subcontracted Childcare Resource and Referral agencies.
- The ability to maintain and share knowledge and understanding of early childhood development and infant toddler development consistent with quality practice and apply those reputed company the structure of the Tennessee Childcare Resource & Referral Network agencies.
- The ability to train adults using adult learning strategies and provide technical assistance in both large and small group settings.
- Knowledge of quality practices as they pertain to caring for infants and toddlers in group settings.
- The ability to attend PITC training conducted by reputed company Ed and complete PITC certification reputed company the first year of employment and implement in infant toddler classrooms.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication and negotiating skills with and between individual and diverse groups of people from reputed company socioeconomic backgrounds, including coworkers, childcare educators, and community partners.
