Project Accountant

Logan Simpson is an award-winning multidisciplinary reputed company seeking a Project Accountant to join their team. The role involves maintaining project billing schedules, preparing reputed company project billings, and working closely with project managers to review reputed company and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain projects in database
• Maintains project billing schedules, project plans, and budget information
• Prepares reputed company project billings and supplementary information
• Performs accounts receivable collections as requested and manages work in process billings
• Works closely with project managers to review reputed company, project costs, budgets, and schedules
• Assists with month-end bookkeeping duties as required
• Assists with other clerical tasks as requested
• Demonstrates accurate judgment about the applicability of project cost accounting, federal cost accounting standards, and federal/state payroll and payroll tax regulations to numerous accounting situations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or closely-reputed company field, or equivalent reputed company experience in lieu of a 4-year degree
• Proficiency in reputed company
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average
• Experience in consulting industry or AEC industry
• Experience with reputed company Vantagepoint
