Benefits Data Specialist (High-Volume Processing Role)

reputed company is seeking a Benefits Data Specialist to join their Benefits & Compliance team. The role involves processing a high volume of benefit enrollments, terminations, and updates while ensuring data accuracy across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

  • Process benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes across multiple reputed company systems
  • Manage a high-volume workflow (800+ transactions per month across reputed company clients)
  • Ensure accuracy between reputed company, payroll deductions, and reputed company data
  • Research and resolve discrepancies such as eligibility mismatches and deduction issues
  • Handle insurance card requests and eligibility verifications
  • Maintain audit logs and documentation for compliance purposes
  • Support Open Enrollment testing and data validation
  • Collaborate with the Benefits Administration team during a phased transition to centralized processing

Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in benefits, payroll, HRIS, or similar operational role
  • Experience with high-volume data entry or processing work preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (reputed company experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities simultaneously
