The Opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager who will coordinate translation project activities among appropriate external resources that vary by project and can include translators, editors, proofreaders, DTP designers, and localization engineers. Activities also include interfacing with the sales team and directly with the client.

This position requires working 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM EST, Friday through Tuesday (including weekends)

Your Impact

• Review client’s requests and assess needs for additional information, e.g. compilation of glossaries, previously translated similar documents, list of acronyms, technical terminology, and translation memories
• reputed company efficient workflows and reputed company the use and maintenance of tools such as translation memories, style guides, and glossaries
• File preparation and analysis using translation memory software, reputed company cost estimates, and project schedules
• Negotiate budgets and schedules with vendors and supervise the reputed company of translation projects
• Manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date management reports and translation database

• Exercise sound judgment in keeping supervisor informed of potential difficulties.

Qualifications for Success

• Minimum three years of experience in translation industry with good proficiency of translation tools
• Proficient use of CAT tools
• Prepare and edit cost estimates/quotes
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to professional customer service
• Positive attitude and a true team player with clear sense of accountability
• Able to juggle multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic self-starter with initiative and creative approach to problem solving
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office and Internet applications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
