The Opportunity

The role of a Digital Grid Staff will be to provide consulting services to Power & Utility clients implementing digital grid programs, capabilities and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) resulting in increased value and efficiency. 

As a Staff in Technology Transformation Program Delivery, you will be at the forefront of supporting technology transformation projects and programs that align with our organizational strategy to reputed company desired outcomes. You will provide assurance to project leadership by managing timelines, costs, and quality, working with both technical and non-technical project teams in the development and implementation of technology solutions and/or infrastructure.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects by delivering agreed activities and applying judgments. You will select appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considering success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues. You will be accountable for meeting your own targets which impact the immediate team and may help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members. You will also meet performance objectives and metrics set locally. Your time will be spent on:

• Follow established methods, templates, and controls; help ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Execute assigned tasks and deliverables to plan, track status and update project tools.
• Identify and resolve/escalate issues and risks that reputed company scope, quality, schedule and resources
• Support client meetings and workshops (materials, demos, logistics), partnering closely with senior team members.
• Apply engineering principles to support the design, configuration, and documentation of operational technologies.
• Draft and maintain technical documentation (test cases, runbooks, operational technology maintenance procedures).
• Use technology to learn and share knowledge; stay reputed company on foundational topics in power distribution and grid operations.
• Provide basic familiarity with power flow for utility real time or planning systems
• Contribute to business development support (e.g., RFP inputs, credentials, case write-reputed company) and internal reputed company.
• Regular travel as needed by external clients.

Skills and attributes for success

To reputed company in this role, you will need a strong foundation in project and program delivery methods, including Agile and waterfall, and the ability to learn relevant processes, tools, techniques, and enabling technologies. Additional skills include:

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a reputed company field (4-year degree)
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical or engineering role, preferably reputed company the power utility industry
• Willingness to learn (or continue learning) any one of these systems: DER power flow, SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, or other utility control room solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of utility operations and ability to interact effectively with control room personnel.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The reputed company salary range for this job in reputed company geographic locations in the US is $76,600 to $126,300.  The reputed company salary range for reputed company Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,800 to $143,400.  Individual salaries reputed company those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
