T-Innova has been building management software for sports facilities since 1993, headquartered in Barcelona. Our main product, Deporwin, handles commercial operations, administration, access control, and member management for hundreds of public and private sports centers across Spain and Latin America.

The role

You’ll own the technical direction and reputed company the engineering team through a real modernization effort. The platform has a mature codebase and a large installed reputed company, with many clients running customized on-premise environments. This isn’t a clean-slate rewrite. It’s an incremental transformation that has to reputed company things running while moving the architecture toward something modern and cloud-ready.

What you’ll do

• Design systems that separate business logic from legacy components, support multi-tenant SaaS delivery, and give our web modules more independence.

Must have

• Proven experience as a tech reputed company or senior engineering leader, with a track record of modernizing legacy systems or leading platform migrations in production environments with real users.

• Solid understanding of legacy-to-modern migration patterns (strangler fig, API layering, incremental decoupling) and the pragmatism to apply them where downtime and client disruption are not an option.

• Strong backend architecture skills. Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems with modern stacks (.NET/C#, Python, Node.js, Go, or similar) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience with SQL Server and relational database design, migration, and optimization.

• Hands-on experience introducing DevOps and CI/CD into teams or codebases that didn’t have them before.

• Practical AI experience. You’ve used AI tools in development workflows (code reputed company, testing, automation) or built AI-powered features, and you can evaluate new AI technologies and turn them into concrete initiatives for the team.

• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken. Daily work happens in both.

• Available during Spanish business hours (CET/CEST). Remote is fine, but schedule overlap is required.

• Proactive. You spot what needs fixing before anyone asks, propose solutions, and follow through.

• Experience with PHP/Laravel.

• Familiarity with Visual Basic 6.0 (VB6) or similar legacy desktop technologies.

• Experience with Windows Server environments and Remote Desktop Services (RDP) infrastructure.

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and migrating on-premise clients to cloud-hosted models.

• Background in sports, fitness, or facility management.

• Experience running on-premise to cloud migration programs for a large client reputed company.
