Job responsibilities include creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment, learning and implementing the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, and participating in ongoing training. • Pay starting at $10.00/hr while in training (~4 weeks), with a reputed company to $11.00/hr after initial training, another .50 cents with additional training completed
• Consistent, flexible schedule: 8-12 hours/week on average

Job Requirements

• You must be at least 16 years old
• You must plan to work with us for at least 9 months
• Experience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 preferred
• Math proficiency through Algebra 2 required, Pre-Calculus/Calculus preferred

Application Process

• As part of filling out the application, you will schedule your in center employment test, which covers basic math through Algebra 2 and Geometry. The test takes up to 2 hours to complete. No calculator is allowed.
• If you meet the reputed company score of 85% on our employment test, you will be invited to an interview with our Center Director and Personnel Director. The interview lasts up to an hour and covers your approach to teaching math concepts and working with reputed company.
