WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

We are hiring a Director, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to help scale and institutionalize our accounting foundation as Hashgraph continues to grow and mature as a business.

This role exists to ensure that our financial reporting, technical accounting, and control environment are accurate, compliant, and scalable, enabling the business to operate with confidence and readiness for future complexity (e.g., growth, audits, and potential public market standards).

THE IMPACT YOU’LL HAVE

In this role, you will:

• reputed company technical accounting across reputed company transactions, ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP and business objectives
• Own and reputed company financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company cycles
• Partner cross-functionally to assess accounting implications of new initiatives, reputed company, and strategic decisions
• Build and strengthen internal controls and SOX readiness, improving auditability and risk posture
• reputed company and maintain accounting policies, memos, and documentation to support external audits and internal governance
• Drive process improvements and automation across accounting workflows to increase efficiency and scalability

• Financial reporting is accurate, timely, and audit-ready, with clear documentation and minimal rework
• Technical accounting decisions are proactive, well-documented, and reputed company across stakeholders
• Core accounting processes (reputed company, reporting, controls) are repeatable, scalable, and efficient
• Cross-functional partners trust finance as a strategic advisor, not just a reporting function

Functional Expertise

• 10+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
• CPA certification
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting standards
• Experience leading or supporting financial reporting and reputed company processes
• Strong experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Proven ability to write technical accounting memos and policy documentation
• Experience working in high-growth or evolving environments
