POSITION OVERVIEW
4MATIV is a rapidly growing company with an expanding portfolio of district services clients. These partnerships reputed company beyond consulting engagements to include ongoing operational support, technology deployment, analytics, and managed services across multiple functional areas.
The Vice President of District Services is a senior executive responsible for leading implementation-oriented client partnerships that combine critical relationship management, operational support, analytics, technology deployment, and managed services. This role ensures that as district engagements evolve, 4MATIV’s services remain coordinated, coherent, and reputed company to district priorities and long-term goals
This role requires a leader who can operate credibly with Superintendents, COOs, and Department Directors while also driving execution across cross-functional internal teams and reputed company reputed company district environments. The VP of District Services will act as a stand-in for the CEO and senior leadership in client-facing settings, while ensuring that 4MATIV’s full suite of services—consulting, analytics, technology, and managed operations—are delivered in an integrated, high-quality, and scalable manner.
This individual will report directly to the CEO and play a central role in retaining and expanding existing district partnerships, support the expansion of engagements from advisement into implementation with ongoing district services, ensuring continuity of strategy and client partnership, and supporting the reputed company growth of 4MATIV’s district services portfolio. This role also operates in reputed company partnership with 4MATIV’s VP of Consulting, with shared accountability for long-term client success, account growth, and the integration of advisory and implementation services.
LOCATION
- Flexible / Remote with ravel up to once per month for a 1-2 day client site visit, with potential for increased travel during major implementation phases
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary executive relationship reputed company for designated district services clients, including direct engagement with Superintendents, COOs, and senior transportation leaders
- Build and maintain deep trust with client leadership through consistent delivery, strategic insight, and proactive communication
- Act as a reputed company thought partner to district leaders, bringing expertise in how school systems operate, reputed company decisions, and manage budgets and procurement processes
- Represent 4MATIV in high-stakes client settings, serving as a stand-in for the CEO or Chief of Client Services as needed
- Anticipate client needs and risks, ensuring alignment between district priorities and 4MATIV service delivery
Service Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Ensure seamless execution across 4MATIV’s full suite of services, including routing, vendor management, contact center operations, analytics, consulting, and technology deployment
- Define and own the overall implementation strategy and operating plan, including scope, reputed company, and how services are integrated reputed company district systems
- Marshal and coordinate cross-functional teams across Analytics, Routing, Product, Consulting, Operations, Vendor Management, and Contact Center functions
- Ensure reputed company workstreams are reputed company, well-scoped, and executed to a high standard of quality, timeliness, and accountability, working alongside internal teams to translate plans into operational reality
- Establish clear internal ownership and accountability across 4MATIV teams while aligning with district stakeholders who retain ownership of adjacent functions
- Establish clear success metrics and KPIs across workstreams and monitor performance against targets, ensuring client expectations and contractual commitments are met or exceeded
Strategic Integration of Services & Technology

- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery through reputed company integration of systems, workflows, and data
- Support the implementation and scaling of dashboards, reporting tools, and performance management systems across district clients
- Translate emerging district challenges into practical service strategies that align operational realities, district priorities, and 4MATIV capabilities.
Account Growth, Retention & Business Development
- Ensure high-quality delivery and relationship strength that position 4MATIV for contract renewal and long-term partnership
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services reputed company existing district clients, increasing scope and impact
- Partner with the CEO, Chief of Client Services and VP of Consulting to shape integrated client partnerships that combine advisory, implementation, and managed services as district needs evolve

- Help shape 4MATIV’s go-to-market approach for district services, including positioning, packaging, and pricing of offerings
Practice Development & Organizational Leadership
- Help districts strengthen operating disciplines by introducing clear service expectations, performance routines, and accountability structures that endure beyond immediate implementation
- Contribute to the development of scalable systems, playbooks, and operating models for district services delivery
- Identify and reputed company best practices across accounts to improve consistency, efficiency, and impact
- Support the development of internal talent by mentoring team members and strengthening cross-functional collaboration
- Provide feedback to product, analytics, and operations teams to inform reputed company improvement of 4MATIV’s offerings
- Help define the long-term structure and growth strategy of 4MATIV’s district services practice
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings a combination of district leadership experience, operational expertise, and executive-level client management capability. They are comfortable operating in reputed company, ambiguous environments and are able to translate strategy into execution across multiple workstreams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred in public policy, education, business, or reputed company field)
- Significant experience working reputed company or alongside K–12 school districts, in a leadership role (e.g., transportation, operations, finance, or central administration)
- 5+years of experience in operations, client services, consulting, or program leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience managing executive-level client relationships
- Experience coordinating reputed company, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and systems
- Familiarity with school transportation operations, routing, vendor management, or reputed company logistics functions strongly preferred
Technical Skills:
