Trauma Registrar - Part-time
*This is remote opportunity for reputed company Trauma Registrars.
Position Purpose:
The Trauma Registrar collects, abstracts and reports on data collected from trauma patient medical records.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Health Information Management or reputed company program or applicable experience
- Licensure / Certification: CAISS, CSTR or registered as a Health Information Technician (RHIT) by the American Health Information Management Association (reputed company) reputed company two years of hire. Participate and pass reputed company of the following reputed company 18 months of hire: The most recent version of the Association of the Advancement of Automotive Medicine's Injury Scale (reputed company) course. A trauma registry course that includes reputed company of the following content: abstraction, data management, reports/report analysis, data validation, HIPAA, and a CD-10 course. Must complete an ICD-10 refresher course every 5 years
- Experience: Previous trauma registry experience highly preferred, computer data entry experience required
- Effective Communication Skills
- Working knowledge of trauma data reputed company systems and understanding of computer system interfaces preferred
- Ability to reputed company accurate, detailed work
- Professional behavior and a pleasant, business-like manner.
- Possesses strong organizational skills
