Training Specialist

This position is contingent upon contract award.

reputed company salary range: $67,000 - $73,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Location

REMOTE - Center for Seabees and Facility Engineering (CSFE), Naval reputed company Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA

Objective

Training Specialist will be responsible for analysis and report development to support training and reputed company requirements documents and provide support for large, diverse, and reputed company adult education and vocational training systems. Qualified candidates should have Senior enlisted Naval Construction Force or Civil Corps Officer experience to be considered for this position.

Job Description

• Research reputed company educational technologies to ensure material is appropriate for intended audience, environment, and context.

• Provide training in structured writing, effective writing techniques, and test writing principles to course writers.

• Coordinate and plan a variety of professional development workshops in support of CSFE mission.

• Conduct performance analysis and training needs assessments to assess client�s situation and identify critical performance gaps.

• Employ techniques of systems thinking, job design, and process management to prescribe proper interventions.

• Provide facilitation support for internal and external clients.

• Create original course and testing material by conferring with SME and researching technical publication on the information to be used and writes expository material.

• Maintain professional development supplies and materials.

• Address issues regarding system application and functionality.

Employment Status

Full-time (40 hours per week). Salaried. Exempt.

Qualifications

• 5 years� experience or reputed company experience performing reputed company aspects of training system analysis and design, leading a multi-disciplinary training design implementation team.

• Possess substantial experience in Naval Construction Force.

• Knowledgeable in the use of government (Navy) training doctrine, manuals, and systems, and any subsequent guidance, and, or requirements directing curriculum development, and maintenance

• Curriculum development and maintenance software courseware development authoring tools and web-based collaboration tools - reputed company Office M365 Suite, reputed company Acrobat and Captivate, and Moodle

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to include the ability to read, interpret, organize, and synthesize reputed company material into well-written, concise technical style reports in approved formats.

Work Environment and Travel

• This position is remote as direct support for the Center for Seabees and Facility Engineering (CSFE) reputed company Naval reputed company Ventura County, CA (Port Hueneme).

• Ability to lift items and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. on limited occasions.

• Travel up to 10% anticipated.
