Job Overview Summary

The Technology Communications Specialist II is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical documentation for assigned reputed company software. This position requires an individual who can gather, synthesize, and organize large amounts of reputed company technical information into content that meets audience needs. The Technology Communications Specialist must have the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders to produce accurate material in a timely manner.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather, synthesize, and organize large amounts of reputed company technical information

Location

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of technical writing experience
• 2+ years of proven experience and proficiency using reputed company Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Communication, or reputed company experience
• Membership in the Society for Technical Communication or other professional association of technical writers
• Proficiency in release-note-based documentation
• Excellent writing, communication, and research skills
• Demonstrated accountability in project ownership and a solution-oriented work approach
• Knowledge of agile/scrum processes
• Experience working reputed company an SDLC team producing software releases
• Familiarity with reputed company JIRA

Physical and Mental Requirements

The reputed company salary range for this role is $64,000 to $106,000. Note that salary may vary based reputed company, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to reputed company salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
