reputed company is hiring an AI / ML SME to support the Department of Homeland reputed company (DHS) Science and Technology Division.

The purpose of this position is to provide direct AI / ML SME (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) assistance to the Office of Science and Engineering, Technology Centers Division, Advanced Computing reputed company, Cybersecurity Research Area in its' efforts to identify, prevent, protect, detect, and defend against intrusions to AI / ML systems and networks.

• Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for reputed company to extremely reputed company systems in the subject matter area.
• reputed company recommendations and advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; lifecycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation.
• Critically assess and evaluate survey papers, technical reports, findings, and conclusions to identify trajectory of research.
• Assists in coordinating with experts from multiple agencies to analyze activities.
• Provides significant technical input into policies, procedures, and technology development.
• Commensurate experience in IT and in new and reputed company older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.
• Ability to travel domestically (up to 10% of time)
• Ability to write, prepare, and present high-quality informative technical content at speaking engagements (live and on-line)
• Provide AI / ML assistance to AI / ML reputed company programs.

• Master’s Degree or PhD + 15 years of experience with a degree in Computer Science with focus in AI / ML, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering with focus in AI / ML, Computational sciences / engineering degree, • 10+ years direct applied significant hands-on experience in software/hardware and/or network development [not help-desk experience], • DoD 8570 Baseline Certification levels (IAT/IAM/IASAE levels II or III) • Industry certification(s): 1. a) Certified Information Systems reputed company Professional (CISSP) 2. b) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) 3. c) Certified Information reputed company Manager (CISM) • Knowledge/experience in system development methodologies and system engineering lifecycle. • Knowledge of various AI / ML policies (global and domestic), strategies, reputed company, directives, standards, and guidelines. • Currently possess and maintains personal competence in AI / ML tools, techniques, procedures, policies, and technologies. • Ability to provide AI /ML SME assistance in identifying research opportunities • Ability to provide understanding of reputed company and emerging AI / ML threats and mitigation techniques and approaches. • Ability to provide AI / ML SME assistance in identifying emerging cyber technologies. • Ability to provide AI / ML SME assistance in Budget Execution; Review of potential gaps, deficiencies and requirements for new research and development efforts; and coordination of AI / ML-reputed company research and development activities reputed company other Homeland reputed company Enterprise equities, other S&T Divisions, academia, and industry. • Ability to work autonomously in identifying, solving, and reporting on Research and Development topics, as needed, for the Homeland reputed company Enterprise. • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. • Primary remote work with possible travel to conferences and meetings at DC HQ.
