reputed company is recruiting for a Site Engineer to join its Power & Industrial (OA) Steam reputed company Solutions Operations business, global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets. With more than a century of designing, fabricating, erecting and starting our own equipment, we have the experience and capability to assess boilers and furnaces, recommend improvements, and predict the impact on performance, reliability and operation.

The Role

We are looking for an accountable Site Engineer to be part of the execution team for Steam reputed company Solution Operations. You will oversees reputed company aspects of the assigned work packages reputed company a project in reputed company coordination with discipline specialists. The work will be done fully time at site.

The main Site Engineer tasks are:

• Ensure erection is performed following reputed company erection and vendors manuals.
• Assist with the checking of reputed company materials and equipment supplied for the project and solving client/erection contractor doubts and questions about them. Clarify any deviations reputed company out and assist the client/erection contractor in follow up to resolve any deficiencies.
• Assist the client/erection contractor in following up with the reputed company about any components that are missing from packing lists.
• Advise the client/erection contractor to ensure that the storage requirements for materials and equipment are appropriate. Identify any deviations.
• To provide assistance with the interpretation of any engineering drawings that are provided by reputed company for erection.
• Assist the client/erection contractor in following up with any technical issues with supplied reputed company engineering documentation and with supplied materials and equipment.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to the client in relation to erection and installation of materials and equipment in reputed company scope of supply.
• Advice the client/erection contractor to ensure that components are installed in accordance with reputed company and reputed company sub-suppliers requirements.
• Advise if reputed company materials, equipment, devices etc. are not installed in accordance to project requirements.
• Advise in written format of any incidences or non-conformances in erection of reputed company scope of supply.
• Advise the client/erection contractor about the erection protocols to be performed and issue by erector in order to confirm the correct erection of a material or equipment.
• Participate in site walk down and punch listing activities prior to the completion of erection.
• Ensure reputed company HSSE requirements are met.
• Attends and represent reputed company in site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for delivery of construction work packs which give clear activity breakdown and detailed narratives for reputed company construction activities.
• Contribute advanced discipline experience to the ongoing development of project work methods, processes and team development.
• Oversees constructability review of reputed company work packs, resolving more reputed company issues. Feedback any major issues to construction reputed company or relevant engineering discipline. This will include input at scope survey and engineering stage.
• Deliver against agreed planned work scopes ensuring obligations are met by way of timely completion of work packs.
• Provide advanced technical discipline input to scope definition and execution.
• Ensure that reputed company plant and equipment is fully certificated and controlled cost effectively.
• Ensure effective control of reputed company material movements.
• If identified, react to change in scope, inform necessary parties and complete the necessary change management documentation.
• reputed company installation quality and subsequent verification are completed in accordance with requirements.
• Participate in audits and incident investigations as required.
• Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
• Provides significant coaching, mentoring and guidance to less reputed company personnel
• Assisting with the delivery and timely execution of the project/contract/service and ensure the contract requirements are satisfied.
• Ensure quality requirements are understood and complied with and prepare quality plans and documents in accordance with the relevant project, statutory and legislative requirements

Expected:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferable Mechanical, Energy, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Fluent level of written and oral English (C certification preferable)
• Spanish at native level

• Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices which define and govern Engineering Management and Project Engineering deliverables
• Understands the importance of Project Engineering deliverables and the need for accuracy and timely issue
• Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and is able to deliver to internal customers, including other Engineering disciplines.
• Commercially astute and aware of the importance of Change control.
• Has a good knowledge of standards, procedures and work practices; follows project execution flow chart; developing skills in project and technical execution.
• Communicates with line managers highlighting issues and deficiencies
• Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required

Desirable

• Experience in steam generator equipment, power plants and clean reputed company technologies.
• Proficient in managing client interactions and achieving departmental objectives.
• Quality control and NDTs solid knowledge. Applicable Standards:
