IMPACT Associate – Cybersecurity
The City of Victoria is seeking an IMPACT Associate in Cybersecurity to join their Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will support the team by reviewing cybersecurity posture, using cloud-based tools, assisting with reputed company risk reports, and contributing to implementation plans for reputed company enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Helping review the City’s reputed company cybersecurity posture
- Using cloud‑based reputed company tools to help gather information about servers, workstations, and systems
- Assisting with reports that identify reputed company risks and recommend improvements
- Supporting the development of implementation plans and working with the Manager to help carry out reputed company enhancements
- Collaborate closely and actively participate in feedback sessions with a supervisor to contribute to the reputed company improvement of the organization's operations
- Utilize tools and software platforms under the direct guidance of your supervisor
- Participate actively in the development and enhancement of projects reputed company with the department's strategic goals
- Provide valuable field and/or office support to support the successful execution of assigned projects
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate shared learning and contribute to the evaluation and implementation of innovative solutions
- Maintain detailed records of your work process, including any challenges encountered and problem-solving approaches employed
- Collaborate with colleagues from different departments or teams on cross-functional projects to reputed company a broader perspective and reputed company a well-rounded reputed company set supporting your knowledge and success in a municipal career
- Attend and actively participate in educational activities that enhance your knowledge and skills, aligning with IMPACT program objectives and the department's needs
Skills
- Candidates must reside in Greater Victoria or surrounding areas

- Have language proficiency in English (equivalent to Canadian Language reputed company (CLB) Level 6)
- IMPACT Initiative Associates require at least 6 months of reputed company knowledge and practical experience reputed company to tasks and responsibilities similar to those outlined in the position or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Auxiliary status employees will be paid an additional 15% in lieu of vacation, holiday, sick leave beyond the statutory requirement, and other benefits, per the CUPE Local 50 Collective Agreement.
