Job Summary

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you'll be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You'll work in a high-production environment, where you'll need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. Your role will be critical in helping others on the path to reputed company, and your work will directly impact the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve prescription issues and improve patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription data
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay reputed company with industry developments and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

• Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in data entry software
• Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* Specialty pharmacy experience

• Call center experience
• Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
• Experience working in a high-production environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
