Job Description:

We are currently seeking an reputed company, precision mechanical Manufacturing Technician C to reputed company a variety of assembly duties including mechanical reputed company reputed company assembly and test. Assembly will be on piece parts into completed sub-assembly using typical assembly tools, but could also include final assemblies, quality testing, re-work, etc.

In our Redmond, WA, site (Seattle area), we fabricate, assemble, and test chemical and electric thrusters, as well as small scale propulsion systems. Our products reputed company a wide variety of missions from the exploration of our solar system to global communication and the surveillance of severe weather and wild fires.

Essential Functions:

• Mechanical assembly and test of engines or other components/products as assigned. Small mechanical precision assembly.

• Coordinate with maintenance, supervision and/or engineers in the set-up and calibration of equipment.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Knowledge of strippers, crimpers and installing solder splices.
• Certification to IPC 620 preferred.
• Familiarity with 5S and lean procedures.
• Ability and willingness to work other shifts and overtime as necessary.

• Knowledge of Laminar Flow environments and FOE/FOD controls a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and test of electromechanical components.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $22.83/hr - $42.54/hr.
