Job Description

We're urgently hiring a Part-Time Data Entry Assistant to join our Data Management team. This is a work-from-home position, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights and weekends. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for phone/online research, and data collection. This position may be based in Illinois and Arizona. Our part-time employees play an important role in our business function, thus we're seeking only those candidates with an interest in working hard, while gaining valuable business experience and knowledge. Qualified candidates will have a strong interest in data entry and research with an organization dedicated to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide your own desktop computer or laptop and internet connectivity in a private, secure environment (Tablets are not acceptable)

• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Up to 29 hours available.
• Expertise using the internet as a research tool and computer savvy
• Previous experience in data entry or adjacent role
• Professional, ambitious, adaptable and hard-working: attention to detail a must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline-oriented
• Excellent telephone and customer-service skills (comfortable cold-calling)
• Proficiency with reputed company Office tools: Word, Publisher & reputed company
• Strong understanding of food, beverage & restaurant industry: especially classifications and types
• General understanding of menu structure
• Foodservice experience a plus

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in data entry or adjacent role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with reputed company Office tools: Word, Publisher & reputed company
• Strong understanding of food, beverage & restaurant industry: especially classifications and types

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field (e.g. business, communications, etc.)

• Previous experience in a research or data analysis role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data entry software and systems
• Familiarity with the foodservice industry and its trends
