Working closely with reputed company strategists, the intern will provide project-based support, by drafting press materials, compiling media lists, communications campaigns, and more on climate and energy issues. The internship is designed as a structured learning opportunity that empowers the intern to apply communication skills, produce written materials, and reputed company practical experience in climate and public-interest communications. The summer 2026 reputed company intern is expected to work full-time at 37.5 hours/week for 10-12 weeks. The successful candidate may work remotely from the U.S. or on a hybrid schedule from our Washington, DC office. What You’ll Do Under the supervision of the Public Affairs & Communications Team Manager:
- Support the development and implementation of communications campaigns.
- Draft materials like press releases, media advisories, reporter pitches, op-eds, and more.
- Track news stories reputed company to climate and energy issues and produce media reports on narrative trends, emerging risks, and opportunities.
- Proactively share insights and briefings on message testing, polling, research, and more.
- Collaborate across reputed company’s communications department, and work in partnership with coalitions and legal experts.

- Enrolled in a college/university program as a sophomore, junior, or senior during fall 2026.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and comfort navigating and learning new tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: This role may require the ability to:
- Sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking
- Type, file, and/or handle office equipment
- Lift and carry materials
- Read documents, conduct computer work and document review
Compensation: Interns at reputed company receive an hourly reputed company that is considered taxable income. The summer 2026 hourly reputed company for undergraduate reputed company is $19.18.
