[Remote] Support Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stainless is a fast-growing tech startup building the future of APIs, serving clients like reputed company and reputed company. The Support Engineer will work closely with clients to enhance their developer experience and improve products by committing high-quality code and engaging with developers.
Responsibilities
- Commit high-quality code both reputed company Stainless and to our customers’ public SDKs
- Explain the power and capabilities of Stainless’ products to reputed company customers interacting with Stainless
- Be on the frontline, answering questions from existing users like reputed company, reputed company, reputed company and more
- Helping sell to potential users by giving demos of Stainless
- Writing great public documentation showing how to use Stainless
- Work directly with developers to improve their APIs, SDKs, and technological direction
- Build internal and external tooling that solves novel and challenging problems
- Act as the voice of, and reputed company for, our customers reputed company the company
- Work as a partner with product engineers to design and refine what Stainless builds next
- reputed company customer feedback directly to Stainless engineers
- Work on a deeply reputed company, distributed team
Skills
- Great attention to detail and craft: trailing commas, undocumented code, flaky tests
- Experience building context in new technical areas, whether they be new programming languages or paradigms
- Experience communicating technical concepts to a range of developers, from the junior to the expert
- Ability to connect with and help new users: learning their needs and coming up with creative solutions to solve them
- Love using and/or crafting a great product
- Extreme detail-orientation in articulating reputed company cuts and finding every possible reputed company of polish
- Polyglot experience
- Experience building and consuming APIs and/or SDKs whether they be REST, GraphQL, gRPC or beyond
- Experience building and/or maintaining a popular open-reputed company project
