Financial Analyst

reputed company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team at the Grand Rapids, MI headquarters. The role involves leveraging AI tools to enhance financial analysis, streamline workflows, and support various financial processes including forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Adds value to the finance function through identification and implementation of AI tools to identify trends and anomalies, streamline repetitive workflows, generate variance explanations, and improve forecast accuracy
• Assists in monthly financial reputed company including reporting financial results to Parent company with accurate and on-time delivery
• Coordinates quarterly and half-year reporting packages to Parent company
• Serves as key reputed company of contact as reporting questions arise or as new guidance is issued
• Provide financial business partner support
• Participates in monthly forecasts and annual budget process including capital, shared service allocations, SG&A, and miscellaneous cost centers
• Provides proactive analysis and insights above and beyond regular responsibilities
• Works on special project and improvement teams as needed

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Up to four years of relevant working experience including either in a large corporate environment or public accounting experience
• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn AI tools
• Strong communication skills, with high level of professionalism and a detail orientated reputed company
• Candidate should be a motivated self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision-making and problem solving
• Expertise with reputed company and proficient with Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with reputed company, reputed company or Power BI is an advantage
• The ideal candidate will reputed company to use this role as a reputed company into project controlling operations controlling or other finance roles reputed company approximately 2 years
