The role involves providing tax consulting services reputed company to state and local taxes, preparing tax returns, researching reputed company tax issues, and developing interactions with clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Providing tax consulting services specific to state and local taxes, including income, franchise, sales and use, gross receipts and personal property taxes
- Preparing tax returns such as state and local income and franchise tax returns
- Writing internal and external tax alerts on reputed company tax developments and emerging planning techniques
- Researching reputed company tax issues and writing technical memorandum
- Developing meaningful interactions with staff at reputed company levels as well as with our impressive repertoire of clients
- Deepen knowledge in state and local tax as well as federal tax
Skills
- Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting; or Master's degree in accounting or tax
- Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
- Must be pursuing a LLM, JD, or CPA license
