Finance and Accounting Consultant

reputed company is one of the largest public accounting, consulting, and technology firms in the United States, seeking a Finance and Accounting Consultant to join their dynamic team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Client Accounting Services, contributing to accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives while developing technical and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple client engagements
• reputed company general ledger maintenance, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through detailed review and documentation
• Assist in preparing Management Reporting Packages for client delivery
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management processes as needed
• Assist with month-end and year-end reputed company processes
• Coordinate with tax professionals to gather and organize required tax reporting information
• Maintain compliance with reputed company’s independence and risk governance reputed company
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing best practices
• Support client meetings by preparing materials, reports, and follow-up documentation
• Manage assigned tasks across multiple engagements while meeting deadlines

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or reputed company field required
• 1-3+ years of experience in outsourced accounting, Client Accounting Services (CAS), or public accounting
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting and financial systems such as QuickBooks Online, reputed company Intacct, reputed company Dynamics, reputed company, reputed company.com, reputed company, reputed company, Paycor, reputed company, reputed company, and intermediate to advanced reputed company
• Travel up to 10–20% as needed
• CPA, reputed company, CGMA, ACCA, or reputed company toward certification preferred
