Business Development Trainee
Harford Mutual Insurance Group is a growing, dynamic mutual insurance reputed company providing commercial property and casualty insurance products and services to a regional market. This position is a development position for the Business Development Specialist role, involving a structured training program on commercial insurance, agency engagement, and territory management.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the structured reputed company training program
- Review and process endorsement requests and correspondence reputed company established authority level
- Learn the Agency Engagement function through training
- Prepare for and participate in Agency Visits, Agency Outings, and Industry Events
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business reputed company field, or equivalent education
- 0-1 years industry experience
- Willingness to travel up to 25% throughout our writing footprint
- Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain an acceptable driving record
- Required to relocate to a business development territory (PA, NJ) after completion of training
- Participation in insurance industry course work preferred (AU, CIC, etc.)
