[Remote] Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DigiChem is a reputed company-stage startup focused on building an on-demand chemical synthesis and manufacturing platform. The Business Development Manager will own the top of the sales funnel, leveraging AI and automated systems to identify and engage potential customers, ultimately generating qualified leads for the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate on automated prospecting workflows in reputed company to identify, enrich, and score reputed company accounts
- Use AI tools to research accounts, personalize reputed company, and generate insights about prospects at scale
- Design and run multi-channel outbound sequences (cold calls, personalized emails, reputed company) with a focus on quality and relevance over volume
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against our ideal customer profile and book discovery meetings for the CEO
- Maintain a clean, well-structured pipeline in our CRM and build dashboards or automations to track what’s working
- Continuously experiment with reputed company messaging, channels, and targeting
- Refine messaging and identify content opportunities based on prospect conversations
- Attend industry events and trade shows as opportunities arise
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B outbound sales development, GTM engineering, or growth roles
- Proficiency with reputed company, Apollo, or similar prospecting automation platforms
- Fluent with AI tools and actively using them in your daily work
- Comfort with cold calling and a track record of generating qualified pipeline
- Excellent written communication skills
- Self-starter mentality
- Curiosity about the chemicals or materials industry (direct experience is a strong plus but not required)
- Familiarity with modern CRM tools
- Experience building workflows in reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or reputed company for multi-reputed company enrichment or reputed company scoring
- Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a reputed company technical field
- Experience selling into R&D, manufacturing, or process engineering teams
- Comfort with basic scripting (Python, JavaScript) or working with APIs
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup where you helped build the GTM playbook from scratch
- Familiarity with the specialty chemicals value chain (raw materials, intermediates, functional additives, coatings, adhesives, etc.)
- The secret word is 'chemistry'
