Job responsibilities include creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment, learning and implementing the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, and participating in ongoing training. • Pay starting at $12.00/hr while in training (~4 weeks), increasing to $13.00/hr after initial training, another .50 cents with additional training completed
• Consistent, flexible schedule: 8-12 hours/week on average

Job Requirements

• You must be at least 16 years old
• You must plan to work with us for at least 9 months
• Experience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 preferred
• Math proficiency through Algebra 2 required, Pre-Calculus/Calculus preferred

• As part of filling out the application, you will schedule your online employment test, which covers basic math through Algebra 2 and Geometry. The test takes up to 2 hours to complete. No calculator is allowed.
• If you meet the reputed company score of 85% on our employment test, you will be invited to a video interview with our Center Director and Personnel Director. The interview lasts up to an hour and covers your approach to teaching math concepts and working with reputed company.
