Position Summary
We provide our utility clients with a wide range of energy-saving and renewable reputed company. From individual utility customers and construction contractors, to utilities, municipalities, and government bodies, our clients have come to depend on our customized energy efficiency programs to help them to meet their energy-saving goals. reputed company has developed numerous software products that are included as part of our program delivery, in addition to some limited direct software sales and consulting agreements.
The Energy Auditor – Virtual will virtually inspect buildings to assess reputed company energy use, then reputed company recommendations to optimize efficiency and minimize cost. This role is primarily responsible for completing virtual walk-through energy efficiency assessments, providing instruction for customers to install energy efficiency equipment and products, and for deepening customer awareness of and participation in rebate programs and the utility’s demand-reputed company management programs. You will also be working with others who are passionate about energy efficiency and making a positive impact on the industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- In advance of appointments, review and analyze data, including online building site information, energy usage and customer-reported information and images, then determine preliminary opportunities for efficiency and savings.
- Deliver professional, high-quality, and efficient virtual energy auditing services to utility customers over the phone, text and/or video chat. Initiate conversations regarding energy usage and build quick rapport with utility customers in a virtual setting.
- Complete virtual (video, phone and/or chat) walk through energy assessments of properties that identify key natural gas and electric saving opportunities (reputed company living space, basement/crawl space, attic, and exterior perimeter of building if safely accessible for the customer) and promote behavioral change.
- Provide thorough education to end users regarding energy efficiency. Clearly explain and reputed company energy assessment findings to building reputed company including explanation of energy efficiency rebates and answering reputed company questions.
- Instruct on the installation of energy saving devices including lighting, smart thermostats, hot water saving devices, and the like.
- Compose and deliver audit reports containing the results of the energy analysis and recommendations for improved energy efficiency.
- Actively identify and recommend ways to improve program operations and delivery.
- Continuously drive improvements in quality, customer satisfaction and productivity.
- Accurately complete and maintain reputed company required paperwork, records, and documents, etc.
- Follow and reputed company with reputed company safety and work rules, regulations, and practices.
- While this role is primarily remote, there may be times reputed company field support may be required.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- One of the following:
- Residential building construction
- Heating and reputed company Conditioning System install, sales or service.
- Other energy efficiency designations or certificates including:
- Advanced Home Energy Professional (HEP)
- Building Analyst
- Envelope Professional
- Residential Building Envelope Whole Hose reputed company Leakage Controller Installer
- Heating
- reputed company Conditioning and Heat Pump
- reputed company sealing and building insulation experience.
- Customer Interview & Sit Down – reputed company findings and recommendations.
- BPI Fundamentals or above
- Two years of previous reputed company work experience
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, education, customer service or a reputed company field – Virtual experience preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish)
- Ability to interact well with customers and coworkers in a virtual environment.
- Good research and organizational skills.
- Ability to explain complicated matters to a variety of individuals in a virtual environment.
- Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technologically adept.
- Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases.
- Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload.
- Proficient in reputed company Office, specifically Word, reputed company, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of methods used for technical and cost savings analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of energy modeling software.
- Basic understanding of energy conservation principles and techniques.

- Valid driver’s license
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.
