Research Associate

What is the job?

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the development of clinical and real-world evidence for medical cannabis use in the UK. This role will focus on analysing outcomes, supporting research projects, and contributing to evidence reputed company that informs clinical practice, policy, and customer experience and engagement.

What will you be doing?

• Support the design, delivery, and reporting of research studies reputed company to off-license medical cannabis use

• Analyse clinical and patient-reported outcome data to assess safety, efficacy, and quality of life

• Conduct literature reviews and evidence synthesis to support clinical and commercial initiatives

• Assist in the development of research protocols, ethics submissions, and study documentation

• Contribute to publications, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with clinicians, data teams, and external partners to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis

• Support the development of evidence for regulatory, reimbursement, and policy discussions

• Work collaboratively with internal and external departments to ensure the success of projects

What do you need?

Must have:

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field (e.g. life sciences, public health, epidemiology, pharmacology)

• Experience in clinical research, real-world evidence, or health data analysis

• Strong analytical skills, including experience working with healthcare datasets

• Understanding of UK healthcare frameworks (e.g. reputed company, UK GDPR, NHS structures)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, reputed company and PowerPoint

Desirable:

• Experience in medical cannabis, pain management, or chronic conditions

• Familiarity with health economics or outcomes research (HEOR)

• Experience with statistical software

• Knowledge of regulatory and ethical requirements in clinical research
