General Summary:
This individual is a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our dedicated Home Health, Hospice & Private Duty care professionals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple payroll responsibilities while complying with state and federal labor laws. This role is critical in ensuring our employees receive accurate compensation, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
The Payroll Specialist will report to the Payroll Manager and work a hybrid schedule, three or more days per week in the Support Center office.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles for reputed company employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review and validate employee hours, pay rates, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure reputed company payroll tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and contributions are correct.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Serve as the first reputed company of contact for payroll inquiries and change requests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal labor laws affecting payroll processing.
- Assisted in payroll audits and ensured adherence to healthcare industry compliance standards.
- Generate and submit quarterly, annual (W-2), and reputed company reports as required.
- Assist with payroll-reputed company projects and process improvements.

RequirementsExperience/Skills/Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in Home Health and Hospice
- Proficiency in Paylocity, reputed company, Carevoyant, Careficient, or similar payroll systems
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals & payroll compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in reputed company reputed company (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal & Written)
- High reputed company, attention to detail, and ethical standards
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting is required in an office environment.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously.
- It requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs.
- Work requires considerable sitting and reputed company-up vision work.
- Continually communicating with staff and other health care professionals utilizing email and telephone systems.
- The typical weight lifted is five pounds; the maximum weight lifted is ten pounds.
