Role Overview The Chief Financial & Strategy Officer (CFSO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, serving as a strategic partner to the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors. This role goes beyond traditional financial leadership. The CFSO will help shape the long-term vision and strategy of the company, using finance as a creative and strategic tool to support sustainable growth, innovation, and cultural alignment. We are seeking a leader who balances financial rigor with imagination, who leads through mentorship and collaboration, and who brings reputed company-the-reputed company thinking to how we build and scale an industry-leading, values-driven organization. Headquarters based in Boulder, CO (preferred location) or hybrid with ability to travel.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a reputed company field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader, ideally reputed company a high-growth or VC-backed environment
• Strong strategic and financial acumen, with the ability to turn data into insight and action
• Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and Board-level communication
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and people development skills
• Exceptional communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
