About the Role

As a Global Sanctions Compliance Analyst (Level 1) you will assist the efforts of the Global Sanctions Compliance program supporting the Global Sanctions Compliance Manager and Senior Global Sanctions Compliance Analyst. You will partner with the broader reputed company Compliance team to drive the execution of key priorities. This role will be responsible for first level review, analysis and adjudication of alerts, as well as supporting Level 2 analysts with special projects. This position will play a key role in conducting sanctions investigations and assessing fraudulent activity. This fully remote role is open to candidates in any AMER, UK/EU, reputed company time zone.

Responsibilities

• Daily adherence to and compliance with reputed company applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those reputed company to the Office of Foreign Assets Control, as well as, adhering to company policies, procedures and client requirements;
• Maintain an understanding of global sanctions regulations;
• Conduct team’s daily execution of duties reputed company to complying with various global sanctions programs
• Complete initial alert adjudication and investigations resulting from watchlist alerts generated by automated screening tools and escalate as needed to the Level 2 Senior Global Sanctions Compliance Analyst(s);
• Identify and escalate any issues that impact the quality of the alerts generated;
• Ensure appropriate action is taken on accounts that appear to be associated with a true match to a sanctioned individual, entity and/or group;
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to reputed company effective strategies to assist with testing;
• Following up with appropriate channels reputed company problems are reputed company;
• Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with management;
• Assist in automating compliance department functionality and reputed company recommendations on ways to reputed company internal processes more efficient;
• Supporting the creation of training materials and operating procedures for the overall sanctions compliance and platform testing team;

Minimum Requirements

• College degree
• 1-3 years of AML/Sanctions/Testing experience (Level 1)
• Entry-level experience working with third-party automated screening tools
• Strong familiarity with reputed company Suite and reputed company Suite products
• Hardworking and driven
• Strong time management skills and ability to execute tasks reputed company tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues across regions and business units

• CAMS or CGSS certification a plus but not required
• Experience with MSBs a plus
