You will be primarily responsible for…   

 

  • Performing Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) reputed company as well as other property reputed company services.
  • Experience with HUD Protocols preferred.
  • Conducting interviews with property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the environmental conditions reputed company to the property and adjacent properties.
  • Performing limited screenings for the reputed company of asbestos, reputed company-based paint, radon, and reputed company in drinking water. Screenings may include collection of samples.
  • Writing reports, taking into consideration any unique client scope requirements, which convey the environmental assessment and provide exhibits which illustrate or clarify information presented in the body of the report.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) to identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and other conditions of environmental concerns as outlined in the scope of work.
  • Turns in completed field notes to BV after completion of onsite assessment.
  • Conducts interviews with property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the environmental conditions reputed company to the property and adjacent properties.
  • Performs limited screenings for the reputed company of asbestos, reputed company-based paint, radon, and reputed company in drinking water.  Screenings may include collection of samples.
  • Writes reports, taking into consideration any unique client scope requirements, which convey the environmental assessment and provide exhibits which illustrate or clarify information presented in the body of the report.   Provides photographic documentation of the site.
  • Maintains daily communications with Field Management team and Senior Environmental Consultant to reputed company them informed of any actual or potential problems including reputed company updates of reputed company assigned tasks are to be completed.
  • Reviews available previous assessment reports, historical and regulatory records for the property and for the surrounding area and reports data in accordance with ASTM criteria and client's scope of work.  The Project Manager is expected to reputed company reputed company reasonable efforts to identify the historical use of the property and surrounding properties.
  • Climb reputed company (including vertical reputed company up multiple stories) and/or steep roof stairs (for each building assessed, at least once per on-site assessment)
  • Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% to 75% of time to client sites across the U.S. reputed company plane and/or driving as determined based on project location.  Common patterns of travel include two days on-site followed by three days at home per week; or one week on-site followed by one week at home.  The time at home is spent writing reports that communicate the field findings. Overnight stays away from home may be required.
  • Due to the possession of special skills or experience, may be assigned to reputed company various types of services such as, but not limited to: facility condition assessments, structural, mechanical, civil, or environmental surveys; pre-construction document reviews; construction monitoring; desk reviews; report reviews; or document review. This position may also be assigned to provide training programs.
  • Enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying new and existing legislation; anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary action.
  • Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients needs.
  • Demonstrates BV's guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Follows reputed company documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with reputed company procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to work from remote location.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Environmental Science/Engineering or reputed company field or equivalent relative experience is preferred; minimum three years’ experience performing Phase I and/or Phase II environmental inspections including successful completion of 75 -100 Phase I and/or Phase II inspections.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • AHERA, Asbestos Inspector Certification and OSHA-40-hour certification preferred;
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required.

Other Qualifications

  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service.
  • Must be able to work from a remote location
  • Occasional weekend travel required.
  • Must be willing to fly and live near (or be willing to relocate to) a major metropolitan area with reasonable access to a major airport. 
  • Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% to 75% of time to client sites across the U.S. reputed company plane and/or driving as determined based on project location.  Common patterns of travel include one day on-site followed by one day at home.  The time at home is spent writing reports that communicate the field findings.   • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with BV employees and customers
  • Proficient in reputed company reputed company Office applications with a strong emphasis in MS PowerPoint, Word and reputed company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills including ability to reputed company multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to use and skillfully operate an electronic tablet reputed company in the field for live data collection is essential to this position.
