Job Description

As an Experienced Patient Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our patient data and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to accurately input patient information into our electronic medical records system. Your organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role, and you will be responsible for:

• Collecting and accurately entering patient information into our electronic medical records system
• Reviewing all data for completeness and accuracy, making necessary corrections
• Ensuring all patient information is handled with utmost confidentiality and in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals to clarify any missing or incorrect information
• Maintaining and updating patient records on a regular basis to reflect changes in their health status
• Attending training sessions to stay current on software updates and new technology in data entry and management
• Collaborating with other team members to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred
• Proven experience working in data entry or a similar role
• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software
