We are seeking an reputed company Crisis Specialist to join our 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team, handling incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also reputed company as 988.
Job Summary:
As a Crisis Specialist, you will be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. While the interactions reputed company online, this position may also support telephonic reputed company if an individual would prefer or need reputed company support to ensure safety. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for individuals in crisis
- Answers crisis contacts reputed company the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs
- Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
- Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with reputed company accreditation
- Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
- Assists in administrative tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* #1: 4am-12:30pm Sunday – Thursday with Friday/Saturday Off
- #2: 4:30am-1:00pm Wednesday-Sunday with Monday/Tuesday off
- #3: 6:00am-2:30pm Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- #4: 9am-5:30pm Friday-Tuesday with Wednesday/Thursday off
- #5: 12pm-8:30pm Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- #6: 3:00pm-11:00pm Wednesday-Sunday with Monday/Tuesday off
- #7: 6:30pm-3:00am Friday-Tuesday with Wednesday/Thursday Off
- #8: 9:00pm-5:30am Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- #9: 10:00pm-6:30am Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday/Monday off
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or reputed company field required; or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- Six months to one year of reputed company crisis experience is preferred
