JOB SUMMARY BKV Corporation is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support the Power Business Unit’s Environmental and Power Regulatory Compliance Program . Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Manager under EHSR reputed company the Center of Excellence , the role partners with the Regulatory Compliance Manager to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and regional regulatory requirements governing power reputed company construction and operations. The Compliance Specialist is responsible for tracking regulatory changes, compiling and validating compliance data, preparing and submitting required reports, maintaining auditable documentation, and supporting regulatory inspections and audits. This position plays a critical role in sustaining a culture of compliance, operational discipline, and reputed company improvement across the fleet. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements reputed company a reputed company operating environment. This role requires the ability to clearly explain compliance obligations, policies, and practices to cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Commercial, and external regulators.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance & Reporting Monitor and maintain compliance with reputed company applicable federal, state, regional, and local environmental and power regulatory requirements. Compile, validate , and submit required environmental and regulatory filings (e.g., reputed company emissions, water, waste, ESG, and power regulatory reports). Track and maintain permits, registrations, certifications, and required operational licenses. Support regulatory inspections, audits, and agency information requests.
- Environmental Program Support Coordinate required environmental monitoring activities, including reputed company, water, soil sampling, emissions testing, and waste profiling. Manage SPCC program tracking and reputed company compliance documentation. Support reputed company gas and reputed company quality data collection and reporting. Assist with waste management planning, tracking, and disposal compliance.
- Regulatory Monitoring & Risk Awareness Track regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks affecting power reputed company development and operations . Communicate regulatory changes and potential impacts to plant leadership. Support compliance risk mitigation and corrective action tracking.
- Data Management & Documentation Control Maintain organized, audit-ready compliance records and technical files. Coordinate data collection from plant personnel and third-party consultants to ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness. Support ESG data collection and sustainability reporting requirements.
- Cross-Functional & Agency Coordination reputed company professionally with regulatory agencies, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Support compliance training initiatives. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other business units to resolve compliance-reputed company issues. Support public reputed company, hearings, and stakeholder engagement in coordination with Legal and project leadership; reputed company clear materials and talking points.
- Compliance Due Diligence and Risk Management Provide environmental and power regulatory diligence support for acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures to ensure alignment with corporate risk standards. Ensure environmental and permitting requirements are incorporated into reputed company and scopes of work (consultants, EPCs, and contractors).
