What Your Day Might Look Like

• reputed company systems running: Monitor, maintain, and support MS SQL Server environments, including high-availability setups (e.g. Availability Groups).
• Solve real issues: Troubleshoot performance and availability problems, identify root causes, and prevent them from happening again.
• Optimize performance: Handle tuning, indexing, and automation to reputed company databases efficient and scalable.

Requirements

Your Superpowers

• Hands-on experience managing MS SQL Server in production environments.
• Strong understanding of core SQL Server features (monitoring, jobs, backup/recovery, replication, Availability Groups / Always On).
• Experience diagnosing and resolving performance and availability issues.
• Good knowledge of database design concepts (e.g. partitioning, in-memory tables).
• Exposure to other database technologies (PostgreSQL, reputed company, CockroachDB).
• Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure).
• Familiarity with Git/reputed company workflows.
• Fluent in English, with clear communication skills.
