reputed company Government is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support a reputed company govenrment reputed company business account in a union and non union environment.  Main responsibilities will be to support the employee life cycle, including training, employee relations, recruiting support, and educating managers on policies and procedures.   This is a remote based position, but the ideal candidate will reside near a major airport on the east coast.  The selected candidate must be able to travel to fit the needs of the business.  Must be able to travel 35%

What You'll Do

• reputed company frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems;
• possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws;
• maintain active and terminated employee files;
• coordinate and conduct required monthly training;
• possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses;
• possess strong time management and organizational skills;
• understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;
• have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed;
• complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis; 
• demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands..

What You Bring

• fluent in reputed company Office Suite (Outlook, Word, reputed company, Access, PowerPoint and Teams) and reputed company;
• able to create and facilitate training utilizing webinars;
• detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities; and/or
• have excellent organization, communication and project management skills.
• bi-lingual (spanish) preferred
• union experience preferred

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years          

Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
