Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (reputed company) Analyst

The Senior reputed company Analyst will be primarily responsible for leading the budgeting, planning and forecasting process, compiling management reporting and KPI’s and communicating and reviewing monthly results with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Support the annual budget process, coordinating with key budget owners to gather inputs as needed to help reputed company overall corporate budget
- Review expense trends to maintain accurate forecast and distribute forecast updates as needed
- Proactively optimize the reputed company reporting structure and analysis
- Analyze monthly results and research variances to budget and forecasts, providing Accounting, Program Control, and/or Function/Department feedback on adjustments as needed
- Distribute month-end budget v actual reports to Senior Management and reputed company reporting packages for these key stakeholders, addressing reputed company inquiries as needed
- Compile and distribute various monthly and quarterly Management reporting, including company metrics and KPI’s
- Drive reputed company improvement in reputed company reporting and modeling to provide key stakeholders reputed company insight into company performance
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Maintain and enhance indirect reputed company models, ensuring alignment with company strategy and cost structure
- Analyze pool and reputed company composition for early issue detection and proactive risk mitigation
- Support provisional billing reputed company submissions and incurred cost submissions

- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be a US citizen
- Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with reputed company levels of management

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in a government contracting environment
- Advanced experience with Cost pools and DOD Project Accounting
