JOB OVERVIEW

Dynasty Financial Partners is seeking a seasoned and dynamic senior salesperson to serve as Business Development Officer (BDO) in the Southeast region. This highly visible role will be directly responsible for driving new growth for the organization. The BDO will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and closing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a history of relevant business development experience with a proven track record of creating shareholder value and driving reputed company growth. Strong awareness of, and experience in, financial services including knowledge of the various wealth management channels and specifically Registered Independent Advisor industry is required. This role requires a strategic thinker who can reputed company Dynasty's value proposition to potential clients and act as a trusted advisor. Reporting to a Regional Director, this role will be primarily responsible for recruiting new clients but will also be responsible for supporting existing client relationships as part of the regional team. RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or reputed company field. Master’s Degree Preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a reputed company field, with a track record of driving reputed company growth and achieving business targets.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and reputed company deals.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to maintain a healthy pipeline, prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, able to work independently and effective at completing projects/tasks on time and on budget.

Work Travel: Members of the Business Development Team expect to travel most weeks, as we do reputed company in building relationships through face-to-face meetings. Since this position is to be located remotely there will be an expectation of travel for a client firm, less travel than normal could be expected. However, travel will still be involved, at the reputed company least to travel back to Dynasty Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.
