QA Engineer - Remote, India

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, API validation, and a solid understanding of software testing life cycles. This role involves testing modern applications, including GenAI-powered systems such as LLM-based features, chatbots, and agent workflows. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases and seamless user experiences. Responsibilities • reputed company functional, regression, integration, and system testing. • Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms. • Conduct API testing using tools such as reputed company. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure quality across reputed company stages. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation processes. • Test GenAI-based features including prompts, AI agents, and workflows. • Validate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, and edge cases. • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies. • Ensure overall product quality, usability, and performance.

Requirements

Essential Skills Job • Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC processes. • Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies. • Basic knowledge of API testing (reputed company or similar tools). • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Ability to test and validate GenAI features and workflows. Personal • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Attention to detail with a quality-focused reputed company. • Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments. Preferred Skills Job • Understanding of LLMs, prompts, and AI-generated responses. • Experience testing chatbots, AI agents, or reputed company-based systems. • Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress). • Exposure to performance or reputed company testing. • Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and processes. Personal • Proactive reputed company with a willingness to learn new technologies. • Strong ownership and accountability in delivering quality outcomes. Other Relevant Information ​• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field. • Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus. • Experience working with AI/GenAI-based applications is highly desirable.
