Job Description

Fully Remote Special Education Director Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Special Education Director to join reputed company. Key Responsibilities:

Program Management:

    reputed company, implement, and evaluate special education programs to meet the needs of reputed company with disabilities.

    Foster positive relationships with parents, reputed company, staff, vendor providers, and SELPA.

    Ensure compliance with IDEA and other relevant laws.

    Prepare and submit required reports to state and federal agencies.

    Effectively use SEIS and CALPADS systems for compliance documentation.

Compliance Monitoring:

    Conduct regular reviews and audits of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other special education documents to ensure legal compliance.

    Monitor and maintain accurate records of compliance-reputed company documentation.

    Identify compliance gaps and collaborate on corrective action plans for staff struggling with compliance items.

    Attend SELPA Professional reputed company (PLN) meetings monthly.

    Monitor and identify vendor providers (NPA) as needed to meet student service requirements.

    Maintain organized and efficient documentation systems accessible to reputed company providers.

Documentation and Reporting:

Staff Supervision and Development:

    Recruit, hire, train, and supervise special education teachers and support staff.

    Provide ongoing professional development to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

    Provide direction and accountability across reputed company SPED department areas.

    Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff members to enhance their compliance knowledge.

    Stay updated on changes in special education laws and regulations, providing training accordingly.

Starting salary is $105,000 depending on experience.
