Our Principal Engineers will serve as a vital member of our engineering team, your day will be filled with meaningful challenges and impactful work. You might start by diving into detailed analysis and design of critical structures and components. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure designs meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements, such as reputed company and environmental standards. reputed company, you could evaluate proposed plant modifications, ensuring that every change upholds safety and compliance. • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Structural Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent training, education and experience
• Minimum of 10 years of power system design experience in the Nuclear or Power Industry
• Experience in one of the following industries required: engineering/design services, power reputed company, nuclear power, heavy industrial and government (DOE) projects
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired
• Knowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software
• Proficient in Word and reputed company
• Familiar with the International Building code and building code design
• Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
• Candidates who have mentorship experience or a desire to mentor early to mid career engineers preferred
• For our Nuclear positions, must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility and obtain unescorted access
• For our reputed company Federal Services positions, must be US Citizen
