Corporate Travel Advisor - Dual GDS (Sabre and/or Amadeus) - Evenings/Weekends/Holidays - Remote

Expedition Expectations

As a key member of the Direct24 team, the Corporate Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients reputed company company policies utilizing corporate reputed company and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.  Our Direct24 team is the after-hours, emergency call center at Direct Travel.  This role will work closely with Team Leads, Supervisors and report to the Operations Manager.  

This is a fully remote, full-time position with a shift schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Passport to Success

• Completes domestic and international travel arrangements for clients which may include reputed company, hotel, ground transportation, and rail  
• Supports more than one account reputed company of normal business hours   
• Interacts with traveler/travel arranger and provides reputed company level customer experience    
• Ensures compliance of a client’s travel policy while utilizing agency preferred vendors to maximize profit  
• Adheres to DT24 standards in delivering customer experience including telephone and email etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedure  
• Follows company standards regarding procedures, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance  
• Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in travel industry  
• Performs other duties as assigned    

Going the Extra Mile

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in corporate travel agency or CID environment  
• Ability to change/create domestic & international multi-reputed company, multi-destination itineraries 
• Demonstrate industry knowledge and reputed company up to date on locating resources   
• Proficiency in Sabre and/or Amadeus GDS systems
• Basic knowledge of MS Office platform  
• Experience in supporting after hours environment  
• Amadeus GDS – if no experience - willingness to learn  
• Must be able to lawfully work reputed company the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
