We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Patient Care Customer Service Representative to join reputed company in Murray, KY. As a Patient Care Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and service. You will be responsible for contacting patients regarding delivery of equipment, taking patient orders, verifying patient information, and placing orders in a timely manner.

Overview and Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately transcribe patient profiles over the telephone, including data entry of information and possible outbound calling
  • Obtain medically necessary documentation
  • Process patient orders through our Online Pharmacy system
  • Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients
  • Troubleshoot problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure
  • Verify orders are complete

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three years of reputed company prior work experience in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in the medical field and administrative record management
  • Strong customer service background
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written, with physicians, location employees, and patients
  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution reputed company handling sensitive information
  • Medical terminology
  • Multi-tasking and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately reputed company simple mathematical calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay for this position is $17.75 per hour, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses. We also offer a range of benefits, including paid time off, overtime pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.
