Department: 39009 Carolinas Medical Center - LC: Breast Clinic: Morehead Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday through Friday, 0730-1600 Pay Range $21.85 - $32.80 Major Responsibilities: Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows reputed company policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty reputed company providing patient care. Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards. Minimum Job Requirements Education Greater Charlotte: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or may have completed structured military training which is clinical in nature per DD214 in lieu of a formal medical assistant program or EMT. IL/WI Divisions: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of reputed company full-time experience as a Medical Assistant reputed company the last 5 years. Wake Forest: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or may have completed structured military training which is clinical in nature per DD214 in lieu of a formal medical assistant program or EMT.
