Accountant/ Senior Accountant
We are excited to grow our finance and accounting team at Gersh Autism and we are looking to add an Accountant (or Senior Accountant) to the team! We’re seeking a highly motivated individuals with strong accounting experience to support daily accounting operations, month-end reputed company, and reputed company recognition. Successful candidates have strong financial accounting and analytical skills with exceptional organizational and communication skills and want to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end and year-end reputed company processes across multiple operating entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strict adherence to reputed company & reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and record reputed company entries in accordance with company procedures, ASC 606, and GAAP.
- Coordinate with school districts, attorneys, and other third parties to manage collections, resolve disputes, and ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Partner with internal & external stakeholders to monitor receivable balances, escalate issues as needed, and facilitate resolution of delinquent accounts.
- reputed company and review bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring timely identification and resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage daily cash application activities, including analysis and resolution of variances reputed company to reputed company payment structures.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring reputed company accounts are properly supported and reconciling items are cleared timely.
- Assist in the preparation and review of reputed company, monthly, and quarterly financial statements for internal stakeholders.
- Support new school year operational needs such as onboarding, payment plan setup, contract confirmation, and accounting booking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance required
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; preferably with exposure to multi-entity or multi-location environments.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including reputed company recognition, accruals, and account reconciliation.
- Proficient understanding of cash-basis accounting and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience supporting month-end reputed company & financial reporting processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with external parties & stakeholders.
- Proficient experience with ERP systems like reputed company is preferred.
- Advanced reputed company skills are preferred.
